PM Modi to interact with BJP workers in ‘Mera Booth Sabse Mazboot’ program on Nov 16

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that he will interact with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers during the “Mera Booth-Sabse Mazboot” program on November 16.

In a post on X, PM Modi praised party workers for their dedication in ensuring a BJP victory in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. “Our dedicated workers are working hard to ensure a landslide victory for the BJP in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Amidst this tireless effort, I am very excited to interact with them in the ‘Mera Booth-Sabse Mazboot’ program on November 16 at 11:30 am,” the Prime Minister said.

Stepping up his attack on Congress in poll-bound Maharashtra, PM Modi on Tuesday alleged that the opposition party seeks to divide communities and urged the people to stay united, emphasizing the slogan “hum ek hain to safe hain” (we are safe if we are united).

Addressing election rallies in Chimur, Solapur, and Pune, PM Modi accused the Congress party of “looting the people” in Karnataka, alleging that the funds were being used to finance their election campaign. He also took aim at the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), likening it to a vehicle “with no wheels or brakes,” and highlighting the internal power struggle over leadership.

“Congress is unhappy with your unity and wants one caste to fight against another. Will you allow this conspiracy to succeed? We must stay united to defeat Congress’ dangerous plans. Hence, my appeal to you is ‘hum ek hain to safe hain,’” he said.

PM Modi highlighted the development works being carried out by the “double-engine” government in Maharashtra and Pune and assured that the “middle class” has always been a priority for the BJP. He further stated that Congress should be kept away “to save Maharashtra.”

Campaigning has intensified for the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra, with both the ruling Mahayuti and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) working hard to sway the electorate. The elections are scheduled for November 20, with the counting of votes to take place on November 23.
