PM of Nepal visit Varanasi today

Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh): Before the visit of the Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba to Varanasi, the spiritual city prepared a red carpet to receive the Prime Minister of Nepal. Deuba arrived in India on Friday for her three-day visit.

It is his first such foreign visit since taking office in July 2021. The streets of Varanasi city are lined with Deuba posters and billboards.

Both the Indian and Nepalese flags have been put together at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. The Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, arrived in Varanasi on Saturday and will take the Prime Minister of Nepal to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, where Deuba will be greeted with a conch shell, damru, and sandalwood tilak according to Indian ritual.

A day earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Deuba met and also held delegation-level talks at Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

The two prime ministers jointly launched several projects that are likely to improve connectivity between the two countries, while expressing hope that the key initiatives they have taken will take India-Nepal ties to new heights.

Both prime ministers inaugurated a 35km cross-border rail link from Jayanagar in Bihar to Kurtha in Nepal and a passenger train service built with Indian grants for the first time in a joint speech at Hyderabad House.

Deuba is on a three-day visit to India. Deuba met with Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader JP Nadda at the party’s headquarters on Friday and discussed strengthening ties between the Nepalese Congress and the BJP. After meeting the BJP Chairman, the Prime Minister of Nepal met with Foreign Minister S.

Jaishankar and Foreign Minister Harsh Shringla in Delhi. The Prime Minister of Nepal was accompanied during the meeting by his wife Arzu Deuba, Minister of Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka, Minister of Energy and Water Resources Pampha Bhusal, and Minister of Health Mahendra Rai Yadav. Prime Minister Deuba attended the meeting at the invitation of BJP President JP Nadda.
