Government of India changed upper limit from 21 years to 23 in recently launched Agnipath Recruitment Scheme amid protest by Army aspirants in Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand.
The mass protest conducted by army aspirants and students seeking government job in several Indian states. The students turned the protest into violent form, several instances of stone pelting, dismantling public property were witnessed in several Indian states majorly in Bihar.
Indian Government has initiated this policy with the view of enhancing the force recruitment by walking on the path of USA and Israel.
