Makers of Raksha Bandhan released trailer of the film starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar whereas directed by Anand L Rai. The film is scheduled to release on 11th August also marking Raksha Bandhan. Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pedneker along with cast of the film launched the trailer in Delhi on Tuesday.
Raksha Bandhan trailer looks promising with excellent execution of comedy and emotion. The film further raises issue dowry system in the society and the struggle by the family to get their daughters married. With selection of excellent theme and beautiful music by Himesh Reshamiyan.
Akshay showed his acting brilliance as in Toilet, Padman, Airlift and Baby. Akshay-Bhumi chemistry also works fantastically with a slice of peaceful music in background.
Overall the trailer has every single element to attract mass audience whether it be emotion, comedy, romance, beautiful tracks or music. The family audience especially Brother and Sisters would put priority over the film.
Therefore, the film will appear in Cinemas on Raksh Bandhan itself along with Amir Khan’s Lal Singh Chadha. Another interesting point is that LSC is a remake of Forest Gump whereas Raksha Bandhan is an original script, so it will be very interesting to see who will impress the audience at large.
