Samajwadi Party Leader and MLA Azam Khan sentenced for 3 years in hate speech case, he is further fined for Rupees 25,000. Due to 3 years of sentence, his MLA seat is also under threat.
The case is registered under section of IPC such as 125, 153A and 505.
The hate speech he delivered in April, 2019 against PM Modi, Yogi Adiyanath and Jaya Prada.
Azam Khan has nearly 90 cases registered against him related to corruption and theft.
