After this, she took the podium to address all the students and faculty members present. In her address, Dr. Sahay mentioned our country’s glorious past and the increasing need to hold on to our culture. She quoted “Pure profit motive will get you nowhere; it’s all about society.

The world is one.” She addressed all the students appreciating the immense amount of hard work each of them had put in and was willing to put in to take the institute and the country to greater heights. She talked about how the students should further brighten the name of India globally when presented with opportunities like foreign exchanges.

She reminded us all that Republic Day wasn’t a holiday; it was the day to celebrate our identities and nationality. She ended by quoting, “Go wherever you go, when you leave, ensure the place is better when you do.”

Prof. Sreelekha Mishra, Chairperson of Student Affairs, addressed the gathering with an inaugural speech, welcoming the Director, and concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
