Congress leader Rahul Gandhi disqualified as Lok Sabha MP by Parliament after conviction in Criminal Defamation case. The Surat Court gave two years of Imprisonement to Congress leader in 2019 alleged Anti-OBC and Anti-Modi community case.
In 2019, election campaigning RaGa slams ruling BJP government over calling, “All Modi thieves.” While slamming fugitive offenders such as Nirav Modi, Lalit Modi and several other, Rahul made all Modi thieves remark in the rally.
Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi slammed BJP and Modi government in the press conference and alleged that the ruling government is murdering the democracy.
Singhvi said, Ruling government is suppressing the voice of opposition and nation.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said its wrong to target Rahul Gandhi whereas Akhilesh said BJP is scared of Opposition power.
Arvind Kejriwal further said 12th pass PM sending opposition leaders to jail.
Here, Rahul Gandhi obtained immediate bail in the matter by the Surat court and is currently in Delhi.
