Adipurush film trailer is poised to release on 9th May in a mega launch event scheduled to held in Mumbai. The film is going to release globally on 16 June, 2023.
Adipurush film is an adaptation of Valmiki Ramayan where Prabhas is seen playing role Bhagwan Ram, Kriti Sanon as Maa Sita, Sunny Singh as Lakshman Ji and Saif will portray antagonist as Ravan.
The film is helmed by Tanhaji director Om Raut.
Earlier, the film was releasing on Pongal, 2023 but, was delayed and shifted to 16th June 2023 due to technical work and outrage against the film due to poor visuals and wrong facts about the Ramayan.
The film also faced public uproar poor representation of characters of Ramayan and even the visuals were cartoonish that audience hated and trolled.
The makers of the film including Om Raut apologized for the same and seek more time to correct the said errors and now the film is finalized and ready to release on 16th June.
