New Delhi: Amid a rising number of COVID19 cases, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, announced on Monday (January 10, 2022) that it would limit the attendance of employees in government and private offices to 50 per hundred.

“In order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the CM has ordered officers to implement the presence of 50 percent of staff, excluding essential service departments, in both government and private offices, and I work from home, “Said the Prime Minister’s Office.
In hospitals, the CM said, appointments should be made online for OPD and patients should be called to hospitals in special cases.
“Teleconsultation should be encouraged,” he added. The UP-CM also said efforts should be made to achieve 100 percent vaccination against COVID19, taking into account the Congregation polls starting next month.
“The constituencies need to be vaccinated 10 days in advance and a plan must be made immediately,” he said.
