“With great success”, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has successfully installed the earth-viewing satellite EOS-04 and two smaller satellites in space.
After the explosion at 5.59 on Monday morning, the first launch campaign in 2022 was carried out by the PSLV-C52 rocket.
The organization’s launch vehicle, the PSLV, installed satellites in its intended direction after flying for about 19 minutes.
The move removed the excitement and applause from the scientists, who were monitoring the first work of the year.
In a tweet, ISRO said EOS-04 was located at a target of synchronous polar orbit 529 km high at 6.17 am.
After injecting EOS-04, two smaller satellites, INSPIREsat-1 (17.5 kg) and INS-2TD (8.1 kg), were also placed in their respective channels.
After the successful launch, ISRO Chairman S Somanath said, “The goal of PSLV-C52 / EOS-04 has been achieved successfully. INSPIREsat-1 and INS-2TD are also located on the right lane. “
Thanking the experts, who made the project a success, Somanath added, “This spacecraft will be one of the biggest assets for us to serve the country.”
Mission Director SR Biju said, “What we have achieved today is truly amazing.”
EOS-04 weighs 1,710 kg and has a mechanical lifespan of 10 years. Radar Imaging Satellite, which will provide high quality images under all weather conditions. It can be useful in forests and fields, agriculture, soil moisture and hydrology as well as a flood map.
