IIM Bodh Gaya’s 7th Convocation: 471 students from MBA, DBM, and HHM programs graduate

Bodh Gaya: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya celebrated a significant academic milestone with its 7th Annual Convocation, where degrees were conferred to an impressive 471 students across three flagship academic programs.

This year, the convocation marked the graduation of 310 MBA students, alongside the pioneering batches of 91 students in MBA Digital Business Management (DBM) and 70 students in MBA Hospital and Healthcare Management (HHM). This milestone highlights IIM Bodh Gaya’s commitment to delivering industry-aligned, future-ready education.

Inspiring Leadership & Recognition

The ceremony opened with a motivational address by Dr. Janmejaya Sinha, Member of the Board of Governors, IIM Bodh Gaya. Urging students to embrace optimism, he remarked, “Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can.”

Director Dr. Vinita Singh Sahay presented the institution’s Annual Report 2024–2025, spotlighting key achievements in academic performance, global collaborations, and campus development. She revealed that 370 students successfully secured placements across the programs, reflecting the institute’s strong industry connect and career prospects.

Placement Highlights

Placement results this year showcased a remarkable performance across all programs:

  • MBA: Top 25% students achieved an average CTC of ₹18 LPA; batch average stood at ₹12 LPA.
  • DBM: Top 25% recorded an average CTC of ₹21 LPA; batch average reached ₹12 LPA.
  • HHM: Top 25% earned an average CTC of ₹15 LPA; batch average was ₹11 LPA.

Prominent recruiters included Deloitte, PwC, Accenture, ICICI Bank, and Tata Power, spanning sectors like consulting, BFSI, IT, and manufacturing.

Celebrating Achievers

Awards were conferred to exceptional students for academic and all-round excellence:

  • MBA: Mihir Shaw (Chairman’s Gold Medal), Aniket Kumar Gupta (Director’s Gold Medal), and Goud Shriprasad Arun (Best All-Round Performance).
  • DBM: Ankita (Chairman’s Gold Medal), Udit Aggarwal (Director’s Gold Medal), and Swapnil Sanjay Narkhede (Best All-Round Performance).
  • HHM: Satyam Kumar (Chairman’s Gold Medal), Abhinaba Manna (Director’s Gold Medal), and Adarsh (Best All-Round Performance).

Words of Wisdom

The event concluded with an address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Arun Kumar Singh, Chairman and CEO of ONGC. Encouraging students to prioritize purpose-driven careers, he remarked, “True leadership stems from giving more than you take. Be a net giver, and focus on acquiring depth alongside width.”
