Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while addressing the inaugural session of the Madhya Pradesh Global Investment Summit (GIS) 2025 in Bhopal on Monday, emphasized the value of education, calling it “the biggest investment in life.”
PM Modi shared that his arrival at the summit was delayed by 15 minutes to avoid disrupting students appearing for Class 10 and 12 board exams. “I came to know that students of Class 10 and 12 had exams today, and the timing coincided with my departure from Raj Bhavan. I did not want students to get stuck in traffic, so I decided to adjust my schedule. Education should never be obstructed as it is the greatest investment in life,” he said.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav praised the Prime Minister’s thoughtfulness, stating, “He is always sensitive to the needs of students and their bright future. Through various programs, he consistently motivates and encourages them.”
During the event, PM Modi also unveiled the state government’s new investment policy, designed to attract investors with incentives and promote the concept of “ease of doing business.” He launched over 18 sector-specific policies covering industries, food processing, exports, MSMEs, start-ups, GCC, semiconductors, drones, tourism, and film production.
Addressing the industrial community, PM Modi described Madhya Pradesh as a future-ready state, offering promising investment opportunities across various sectors. “Madhya Pradesh has transformed into a state with immense growth potential. I invite industrialists to invest here, assuring that their investments will yield excellent returns,” he said.
