IIM Bodh Gaya Empowers WRD Officers Through Innovative Management Development Program

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bodh Gaya in a pioneering collaboration, partnered with the Water Resources Department, Government of Bihar to conduct a transformative “Management and Skill Development Programme for their officers.

The program, held from November 27th to December 2nd, 2023, aimed to equip participants with essential skills encompassing strategic thinking, team-building, financial acumen, and broader aspects of general management.

The comprehensive initiative saw active participation from 24 individuals, ranging from Superintendent Engineers to the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO).

Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, the Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, expressed her firm belief in the capabilities of the newer generation and expects from them to bring progress in Bihar.

She calls for a synergy, with the older generation’s wisdom guiding the path while the youth’s capabilities lead the way forward. Following this, a participant, Mr. Ajeet Kumar, SDO, North Koel Dam and Barrage Division, Mohammadganj, complimented the faculty and staff of IIM Bodh Gaya for their knowledge, efforts,and unwavering commitment to the success of the program.

Coordinated with precision and dedication, the program was led by Prof. Ashish Sharma, Prof. Molla Ramizur Rahman, under the leadership of Prof. Amit Srivastava, the Chairperson of Executive Education at IIM Bodh Gaya. Their joint efforts ensured a seamless and impactful learning experience for all participants.  

This initiative seamlessly aligns with IIM Bodh Gaya’s ongoing commitment to fostering holistic business practices. The institution’s mission to contribute to the professional development of individuals and organizations is underscored by such initiatives.
