IIM Bodh Gaya hosted Professor Per Cramér in International Relations Exposure event

The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya welcomed Professor Per Cramér, Dean of the School of Business, Economics and Law, at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden, a school with triple accreditation, on October 20, 2022.

IIM Bodh Gaya, an AACSB-accredited university, had fostered positive relationships with educational institutions and universities worldwide since its inception.

The institute acknowledges the significance of international relationships that enhance students business acumen through global exposure and immersion.

The International Relations Committee of IIM Bodh Gaya plays a crucial role in collaborating with foreign universities and enhancing cultural intelligence at IIM Bodh Gaya.

The committee has successfully brought international exposure to the campus by establishing collaborations with several prestigious institutions in France, Venezuela, Russia, Mexico, Italy, and South Korea, and it is still expanding the discussions across the globe.

Professor Per Cramér visited the campus and spent valuable time interacting with the faculty and students. Dr. Vinita S. Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and Prof. Per Cramér discussed long-term sustainability, health management, and the significance of accreditations, which are the quality measurements for institutes.

Prof. Per Cramér, while addressing the students, discussed the historical importance of the School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He pointed out with delight that the academic programmes at the School of Business, Economics, and Law and IIM Bodh Gaya stress long-term sustainability and ethics in many ways.

He stated that business schools are an integral part of society and that emphasis should be placed on enhancing the quality and relevance of education systems.

While discussing the significance of research, he stated, “There should always be a close relationship between education and research.” In addition, he said, “There is an urgent need for effective multilateralism to tackle the challenges the world is facing today.”

He also stated that extensive research could aid in addressing complex challenges such as long-term sustainability and the effects of climate change.

Later, he spoke with faculty members about sustainability and AACSB accreditation, and Dr. Vinita S. Sahay presented him with a memento.
