New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address farmers and scientists across the country on Thursday at the ongoing Summit on Natural and Zero Budget Farming in Gujarat.
This three-day conference started on 14 December, which is to end on 16 September i.e. today.
The Prime Minister will address the farmers during the concluding session at 11 am.
BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh said, “The Prime Minister will address the ongoing summit on Natural and Zero Budget Farming in Gujarat. BJP will put up screens in every Mandal and invite farmers to watch the Prime Minister’s address.
The program will start at 11 am and will go on till 1 pm.
The BJP leader further informed that as per the details available at present, 9,500 Mandals have been set up which will be set up with screens, General Secretary Arun Singh said.
“The Prime Minister is working towards doubling the income of farmers. We are looking to promote natural farming so that the cost of production of farmers is reduced and income increases.
He said, ‘A big revolutionary change is about to come, which is going to benefit the farmers. BJP workers will applaud the Prime Minister’s address at different places across the country.
According to an official statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, PM Modi will address the farmers during the concluding session of the national convention. Farmers will be provided with all the necessary information about the benefits of adopting natural farming methods.
“Zero budget natural farming is a promising tool to reduce the dependence of farmers on procured productive inputs and reduce the cost of agriculture by relying on traditional field-based technologies, thereby improving soil productivity,” the Prime Minister’s Office said.
For this indigenous cow, its dung and urine play an important role.
Other traditional practices such as mulching the soil with biomass or covering the soil with green cover throughout the year, even in conditions of very little water availability, include ensuring sustained productivity.
