New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a three-day visit to Gujarat from Sunday, where he will launch various projects worth over ₹ 14,600 crore and address rallies ahead of the state assembly polls due later this year.
PM Modi will arrive in the evening and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several projects worth around ₹3,900 crores at Modhera village in Mehsana district.
It will also declare Modhera as India’s first 24×7 solar-powered village.
The PM will also offer prayers at the Modheshwari Mata Temple and visit the Surya Mandir in Modhera.
Making Modhera the country’s first 24/7 solar village included the development of a ground-mounted solar power plant and more than 1,300 rooftop solar systems on residential and government buildings, a government release said.
On Monday, the Prime Minister will be at Amod in Bharuch district to dedicate various projects worth over ₹8,000 crores to the nation.
On Monday, Modi will inaugurate Shaikshanik Sankul – an educational complex for needy students – in Ahmedabad. The evening will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth ₹1,460 crores in Jamnagar.
On Tuesday, PM Modi will address a rally at Jamkandorna in Rajkot district. He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth ₹1,300 crores at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad.
He will then leave for the Shree Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain in neighboring Madhya Pradesh, the report said.
