India witnessed a vibrant celebration of nutrition and health during Poshan Pakhwada 2025, held from April 8 to 22, under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development. Marking its seventh edition, the campaign this year focused on three core themes—maternal and child nutrition, digital access for beneficiaries, and addressing childhood obesity.
From bustling metro streets to quiet village lanes, the fortnight-long initiative united citizens across the country through awareness drives, workshops, health camps, and creative activities aimed at promoting better nutrition. Anganwadi centres, schools, and community spaces transformed into hubs of engagement, while digital platforms extended the campaign’s reach to the last mile.
The Ministry highlighted that the success of Poshan Pakhwada 2025 lay in its collaborative approach—bringing together government bodies, grassroots workers, NGOs, and citizens in a shared mission to build a healthier, nourished nation.
As India steps forward in its journey toward a malnutrition-free future, the enthusiasm and participation witnessed during this Pakhwada stand as a testament to the power of collective effort, innovation, and care.
