Rashtrapati Bhavan will reopen for public viewing from March 8

New Delhi: The Secretariat of the President reported on Friday (March 4, 2022) that the tour of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex, and Changing of the Guard Ceremony will resume to the public from next week.

Access to the general public has been restricted from January 1, 2022, due to the Covid19 pandemic. Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum Complex will be open to the public from March 8th and will remain open Tuesday to Sunday excluding official public holidays.

Visitors can enter the museum in four pre-booked time slots, with a maximum limit of 50 visitors per time slot, the president’s secretariat said in a statement. The time slots are from 09:30 to 11:00, from 11:30 to 13:00, from 13:30 to 15:00 and from 15:30 to 17:00.

Rashtrapati Bhavan Tour will be available from March 12th. It will be open every Saturday and Sunday (excluding Gazetted holidays) in three pre-booked time slots 1030-1130, 12301330, and 14301530 with a maximum limit of 25 visitors per time slot.

The new Arogya Vanam will also be part of the Rashtrapati Bhavan Tour. The Changing of the Guard ceremony will take place every Saturday, excluding public holidays, from 08:00 to 09:00 from March 12.
