There have been numerous researches pointing out involvement of illegal migrant from Bangladesh and Myanmar known as Rohingyas for the communal violence that took place in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri on Saturday evening. Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta and party MP Manoj Tiwari said that the attack on the procession was not a spontaneous incident but a conspiracy. Both questioned the AAP government and said that why is it providing water and electricity to Rohingyas and Bangladeshis, how did they get their connections? Now the question arises that why everyone is blaming Rohingya and illegally living Bangladeshis behind this. Let’s know.
Rhongyas(illegal migrants) Present across India
According to advocacy group Human Rights Watch (HRW), India has around 40,000 Rohingya refugees living in camps and slums in different parts of the country, including Jammu, Hyderabad, Nuh and Delhi. In Delhi, they are present in Rohingya camps built on the banks of river Yamuna and elsewhere. Rohingyas have been allegedly involved in heinous crimes like chain snatching, murder, rape, conspiracies in anti-national-activities and spreading communal hatred on various occasions. And the worst part is that these illegal infiltrators have now been properly acquired citizenship documents by hook or crook and now are inditintable from normal citizens of India. After the 2017 military action against Rohingya Muslims, 5,000 Rohingyas had taken refuge in Jammu. This is all the reason why BJP is raising his name in this incident.
Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta said in a video message that he wants to ask Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal why he is providing water and electricity to Rohingyas and Bangladeshis living illegally in the city. On the other hand, BJP MP from North East Delhi Manoj Tiwari in a tweet called illegal migrants a big threat and demanded an investigation. He said that “the people who are protecting them and helping them to settle here are a big threat.”
History of Rohingya
Only 17,500 Rohingyas are registered in the UNHCR office in Delhi. According to The Print, Delhi is one of the main places in terms of settlement of Rohingya refugees. Apart from places like Jasola, there are also five large informal camps located on the banks of river Yamuna. Madanpur Khadar is near Yamuna river. Rohingya Muslims are living as refugees in many areas of Delhi. There is also a settlement of Rohingya Muslims in Madanpur Khadar in South Delhi. A year ago there was a fierce fire in which conspiracy was being talked about, but the police had said about an electrical short circuit. An objection was raised on behalf of the Sangh regarding this and said that they should be removed from here. Similar is the situation in North Nagar area of Delhi. According to a report here, Rohingya Muslims had even started converting their religion. There is also a big settlement here who were living here for almost 30 years.

kapil mishra demanded immediate ouster
On the other hand, former AAP minister and BJP leader Kapil Mishra said that stone-pelting on the procession was a terrorist attack. He demanded immediate expulsion of illegal immigrants from India. He said the papers of all illegal immigrants should be checked and they should be expelled immediately.
NIA has arrested many
A clash broke out between two communities during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Jahangirpuri on Saturday, in which several policemen were injured. Earlier this month, the Supreme Court agreed to list a petition seeking the detection and deportation of illegal Rohingya and Bangladeshi infiltrators. The petitioner said that keeping in view the politics of vote bank, many states like Delhi, Assam, West Bengal, Tripura, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra have ignored the presence of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators in those states from time to time. He also said that there is a network of travel agents, government employees and such others who directly/indirectly provide PAN cards, Aadhar cards, ration cards, passports and voter cards to illegal immigrants and infiltrators. Not only this, the NIA had busted the human trafficking racket, which had come to the fore to help Rohingya Muslims to enter India.
Continually found involvement in wrong activities
In March, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested 6 people and busted a human trafficking racket that was helping Rohingya Muslims enter India and settle on the basis of forged documents. This gang was active and active in the border areas of Assam, West Bengal, Meghalaya and other parts of the country.
