AIRLINE fans have been given a trip down memory lane after an iconic star from the show returned to the airport.
Jane Boulton, now 59, shot to fame in 1999 as one of the main faces of fly-on-the-wall docu-series Airline, thanks to her job with Easyjet.

And although she no longer officially works for an airline, Jane has thrilled fans with a surprise comeback.
The former Easyjet Operations Manager has filmed a promo video for dating app Bumble and has reverted to her former role especially.
In the funny footage, she can be seen approaching passengers in an airport and offering singletons ‘tickets’ for a fictitious ‘Bumble Airlines flight’.
In scenes reminiscent of ITV1’s Airline, Jane strides across the concourse in black trousers and a smart blouse while talking efficiently into a walkie talkie.
“Hi, it’s Jane, I’ve just sent five ladies through on the Bumble Airlines flight,” she says.
“If you can just hang on for them, that would be great.”
A voiceover then says: “After a long day of helping customers sort out their dating lives, Jane is on her way home.”
Facing the camera, Jane harks back to her Airline days and declares: “I’ve had a great day.
“I’m absolutely shattered, I’ve spoken to loads of people so hoping they will find romance, love or just a night of fun with someone, that would be awesome.”
She adds: “I’m going to go home, have a nice hot bath and I’ve got one boarding card so, you never know, I might pretend I’m 25 and download the app myself and have a little look.
“Who knows, just don’t tell the husband though!”
Jane has since posted the footage on X, formerly known as Twitter, and fans are thrilled.
One replied: “Brings back memories of watching Airline!”
Another even asked: “Omg is there new airline?”
Airline was broadcast between 1998 and 2007, providing reality TV before the likes of TOWIE and Love Island.
Trouble-shooter Jane worked on the ground at London Luton Airport’s EasyJet’s check-in desk, dealing with angry – and sometimes stupid – customers on a daily basis.
Jane bowed out of Airline in 2007, however she has recently found herself in the limelight again after old clips of her went viral on TikTok.
In July, she was invited to appear on ITV’s This Morning to chat about her new legion of younger fans, who are gripped on her sassy customer service.
Jane said: “The most bizarre thing is they say, ‘My mum used to watch you, we think you are an icon’.
“Half them weren’t even born when it was on.”
She added: “It’s been a shock, a nice shock.”
Jane revealed that she was never paid for being on the show and was initially told she would be filmed for a few hours – but it ended up being years.
“We never expected it to be what it was,” Jane admitted:
These days, Jane runs her own cake business, saying: “I am lucky enough that I am busy enough.”
