Bholaa crosses Rs 50 crore in six days, beats Dasara at the box office

Bholaa, the latest film directed by and starring Ajay Devgn, has impressed the audiences and critics alike with its gripping story and action sequences.

The film, which released on March 30, is a remake of the 2013 Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, which featured Karthi in the lead role.

The film revolves around Bholaa, an ex-convict who wants to meet his daughter for the first time after getting out of jail. However, he gets involved in a clash between the police and the drug lords.

Bholaa has managed to collect around Rs 53 crore nett in India in six days of its release, as per early estimates. The film saw a steady performance on Monday and Tuesday, as both days were holidays (Mahavir Jayanti and Good Friday). The film is likely to end its first week with around Rs 60 crore nett.

Bholaa has also performed better than its competitor Dasara, a Telugu film starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh. Dasara, which also released on March 30, has earned around Rs 65 crore nett in India in six days. However, Bholaa has a higher occupancy rate and a wider reach than Dasara.

Bholaa also features Tabu, Deepak Dobriyal, Sanjay Mishra, Gajraj Rao and Vineet Kumar in important roles. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films, and Dream Warrior Pictures. This is Ajay Devgn’s fourth film as a director after U, Me aur Hum, Shivaay and Runwav 34.
