Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde proves himself true a successor of Bal Thackrey and Shiv Sena after gathering support Jaidev Thackrey, Smita Thackrey and Nihar Thackrey along with that 40 MLAs and 5 MPs at Dussehra rally at BKC ground. Uddhav is left with only Aditya Thackrey, 14 MLAs and 6 MPs aiding his camp.
Here, Jaidev Thackrey is son of Bal Thackrey, Smita is Wife of Jaidev Thackrey and Nihar is grandson of Bal Thackrey and son of Bindumadhav Thackrey.
Eknath Shinde’s Dussehra rally gathered crowd of around 2 lakh people just double that of Uddhav’s rally (1 Lakh people).
Ekanth Shinde started his mega rally with slogans like cheering Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Hinduhridya Samrat Bal Thackrey and Dharmveer Anand Dighe. The also raised slogan of “Garva Se kaho Ham Hindu hai.”
On the other hand, empty handed Uddhav had nothing to say except petty verbal attacks on PM Modi, BJP and Eknath Shinde and his allies.
Therefore, Eknath Shinde seems poised to win his trust in public as what Balasaheb Thackrey had due to his Hindutva and Practical image. Shinde’s rise might severely obstruct the path of Uddhav camp in the election run.
