Supreme Court of India quotes that Place of Worship act couldn’t define the religious character of any place over Gyanvapi Row. This move by court presented setback to the Muslim side as they were emphasizing the clean past of Gyanvapi Mosque.
The court further says that the status quo will remain at the site. The sealed portion of Vazukhana will remain sealed whereas the proper arrangements regarding vazukhana will be made. SC believes that both the faiths can survive or coexist amid the situation.

The apex court presented their side towards the Varanasi district court. The court further said that the proceeding will also take place after retirement of LN Ray.
The court further rebuked over the leakage of survey report shouldn’t be revealed or leaked to maintain law, order and peace in this situation.
