FOR fast food fans nothing quite beats the excitement of playing McDonald’s Monopoly.
But the when one food fan won a £2k holiday he couldn’t believe his luck – and he isn’t the only one who won a mega prize.

Players who take part in Monopoly can collect stickers from their food packaging that represent train stations or colour co-ordinated road names – much like the classic game.
Among the top prizes this year is £100,000 in cash for four winners and there will be 2,000 “gold cards”, which gives you free Maccies meal a week for a year
Although it might feel like no one wins the big prizes it couldn’t be further from the truth, one lucky man revealed he hit the jackpot when he played last year.
The foodie collected three yellow stickers, meaning he got to take his wife and children on a posh holiday.
The family jetted off with Tui and got to enjoy the sunshine and beach without spending a penny.
“I thought it was fake until he won,” his wife joked.
“Make sure you lot play Monopoly and keep them stickers,” he told other food fans.
The game returned earlier this month to the delight of fast food fans.
It usually lasts for around six weeks. Last year it launched on September 7 and ended on October 18 – so you’ll want to grab some grub now if you want to take part.
After sharing the post on TikTok other McDonald’s fans revealed some of the prizes they nabbed too.
One said: “My brother won the holiday in like 2012, I think we went Jamaica it was amazing.”
A second commented: “I won McDonald’s for a year, but that’s so amazing!”
“I didn’t know people actually won the big things,” another admitted.
And someone else said: “Ok fine, I’ll go buy more McDonald’s. You’ve convinced me.”
