Alannah Brown took to Facebook to share the post that revealed the incredible knock-off Pringles.
She wrote: “Not sure if they’re new but Iceland sell a knock-off version of the discontinued Pringles snack packs!!
“Also in sour cream flavour!” she added.
Alannah explained that a pack of three at 35g each scans for just £1.
The post included a photo of the three-packs of ready-salted flavour Poptastic Potato Crisps in its red and yellow packaging.
Alannah racked up a whopping 391 likes on her post and over 180 people left their thoughts in the comment section.
One wrote: “I think these are a lot better than the original ones x”.
Another said: “Better than Pringles them bad boys”.
A third commented: “These are good for the children”.
One more added: “The blue ones are so nice I think these are 10x better than Pringles”.
Other crisp fans added that they had found the same product in B&M stores too.
On the Iceland website, the store says that there are no artificial colours in the product and that customers will “love every one of them”.
One shopper left a glittering review that read: “These are definitely Pop-Tastic! Lovely flavour and texture! Great value…more flavours and bigger sizes please”.
Another chimed in: “They ain’t exactly like Pringles but the best I’ve tasted close to them, also very ideal for snacks, lots in a pack so value for money”.
It comes after Aldi shoppers went wild for a McDonald’s dupe which cost 40 per cent less than the real thing.
The Maccie fries from Aldi cost £1.49 for a pack of two.
In comparison, one McDonald’s medium fries cost £1.29, so that’s a saving of 99p for one pack of fries.
And Asda shoppers fell into a frenzy over Wotsit dupes that cost 63 per cent less than the real thing.
Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group, one shopper said: “Thoroughly recommend the yellow brand maize snacks from Asda.
“The cheese puffs are twice the size of Wotsits and just as good.”
