DEAR DEIDRE: EVERY time our doorbell rings, my neighbour is out on her front step recording our visitors.
She’s ridiculous. She’s 71 and lives alone.
We moved in a year ago and I was excited to have a new home with a garage where I could run my dog-grooming business.
My neighbour says that we have too many visitors. I was drying a dog one day and his owner was waiting on the doorstep as I hadn’t heard the bell.
Our neighbour claimed that the man was staring at her while she was wearing her dressing gown.
The fence between us, which is her responsibility, is four feet tall so my husband suggested we’d take the hit for the cost of a 6ft fence but she just screamed at us.

I’m now losing customers because she makes people feel really uncomfortable.
I’m a woman of 52 and my husband is 57.
DEIDRE SAYS: She is breaking the law if she is recording your visitors without their consent on your private land.
Make sure you have all the appropriate permissions and paperwork to support running your business from home before you lodge a formal complaint.
