The Karnataka government after case dip in the state decided to commence the schools and educational institutes from January 31. Karnataka logs 31,198 and Bengaluru contributed around 15000.

Karnataka government allowed Hotels, Bar, Pubs, Cinema Halls to operate at 50% occupancy. The physical classes in Bengaluru will also start from Monday, January 31.

Gyms, Sports complexes, Swimming pools to operate at 50% capacity and Government offices are directed for 100% occupancy.

Religious congregations, protest and religious gatherings are restricted whereas temples are allowed to function at 50% occupany.

On Friday, India recorded a slight dip in the Covid-19 cases as India logs nearly 2,35,000 cases. Kerala again emerged as highest contributor in the list and standing at more than 54,000 in a single day.
