Kat is worried when Alfie is a no show on her big day[/caption]
After leaving Walford to see her sister Little Mo, Kat (portrayed by Jessie Wallace) recently returned to the Square.
However, her return leads to some tense scenes as she finds out that not only has her son Tommy Moon been acting out again but her former husband Alfie Moon could be suffering from prostate cancer.
Despite the issues, upcoming scenes see Kat finally decide to bite the bullet and book a registry office for the following week.
But Kat has no idea that Phil ended up in a passionate embrace with Emma Harding in the back office at Peggy’s during Tuesday’s episode.
In the dark, the wedding day arrives but a furious Alfie heads to the Arches to get the truth from Keanu about what Phil has been up to.
Meanwhile, Phil and the Mitchell men raise a toast to family at Peggy’s.
Alfie arrives and when alone he punches Phil, and as the two men battle it out, its clear something else is bothering Alfie.
He then emotionally reveals that he lied and he does in fact have prostate cancer and that he is having a prostatectomy.
Later, Kat is panicked when Phil arrives late at the registry office without Alfie – will Kat and Phil go through with the wedding?
