Opposition groups in Pakistan have filed a lawsuit seeking the removal of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, accusing him of mismanagement of the economy and bad governance over a difficult challenge he has faced since taking office in 2018.
The move comes after opposition parties, led by the Pakistan People’s Party, mobilized thousands of supporters to protest against Khan, increasing the chances of political unrest in the nation.
