RPN Singh (Kunwar Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh) joins the BJP in the presence of Keshwa Prasad Maurya, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Dharmendra Pradhan, Swatantra Dev Singh and Anurag Thakur. RPN Singh is from Kushinagar and was a veteran Congress leader and back for Congress in Purvanchal province of Uttar Pradesh.
During day time, Singh quit Congress and sent a resignation letter to Congress President Sonia Gandhi. RPN Singh is officially inducted into BJP. RPN Singh exit is treated as another VVIP Congress exit and loyalist of the Gandhi family.
Along with RPN Singh, his two other associates joined BJP.
RPN Singh is the husband of NDTV anchor Sonia Singh.
RPN Singh lauded the work of PM Narendra Modi, HM Amit Shah and Dharmendra Pradhan. RPN Singh said I had served one party for around 32 years.
I’ll do whatever is essential for my country’s growth, said RPN Singh. Singh even targeted Congress leadership and said it’s not that party which it was used to be.

Congress need to work on its leadership; otherwise, it might lose the last three states, including Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Punjab. Punjab elections are on its verge, whereas Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will undergo elections in 2023.
