Bangalore Metropolitan Municipality announced their decision to put hold on the meat shops in Bengaluru on Ram Navami festival. Ram Navami will be observed on Sunday, 11th April this year.
Keeping sentiments of majority of the population in mind, the Bengaluru Municipality has decided to put stay upon opening of Meat shops. The slaughter house are also directed to be closed on the same day.
As said by various mouths, Ram is our ancestor for him can’t we restrict immoral works on the same day. Again the meat eating is categorized under immoral act under Hindu or Sanatani culture.
As the time elapses, other states might even decide to move upon this notion. The decision doesn’t looks like an regressive or oppressive among other sections of society but, it looks like maintaining a social peace and harmony between different sects, religion, and castes of the society.
Therefore, Bhagwan Ram is equal to all, thus, all have their right over him, thus, we all should welcome this decision wholeheartedly.
