MNS Chief Raj Thackeray and Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut jumped into a tussle over, Raj’s visit to Ayodhya for Ram Mandir Darshan.
Even before the heat of the speaker’s line dropped, Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena have now cut their swords with their leaders’ visit to Ayodhya. Raj Thackeray is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on June 5, and Maharashtra Minister and Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Thackeray will visit Ayodhya with Shiv Sena officials from across the country on June 10. Both are scheduled to visit Ram Mandir.
Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut criticized Raj Thackeray’s proposed visit to Ayodhya and “Lord Ram wouldn’t bless those who came to him with false feelings and political motives”.
On Saturday, in the middle of the speaker line, Raj Thackeray issued a message to his party staff asking them to stop commenting on his upcoming Ayodhya visit. He said some officials had been charged with being the party’s spokesman on Raj Thackeray’s trip to Ayodhya. Some party workers should not speak to the media, he said.
