The visit by Laura Rosenberger, chair of the American Institute in Taiwan, is welcomed by the government and people of Taiwan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs March 31 in Taipei City.
Accompanied by Michael Pignatello, a senior consultant with the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs, this marked Rosenberger’s fifth visit to Taiwan, underscoring her dedication to the post. During the seven-day stay, Rosenberger and Pignatello will meet with governmental officials and leaders from various sectors for in-depth discussion on key issues.
Based on robust mutual ties, the MOFA will continue to cooperate with the U.S. and to further deepen and expand the long-term partnership. (POC-E)
