A team organized by the National Development Council, StarFab Accelerator and Startup Island Taiwan showcased the country’s artificial intelligence ingenuity at Nvidia GPU Technology Conference, held March 16-19 in San Jose, U.S.
According to the NDC, the team from Taiwan was the largest to date and comprised 16 firms. The delegation to the high-profile AI conference and expo spotlighted the local sector at the event staged by U.S. high-tech powerhouse Nvidia Corp.
Participating firms demonstrated innovative AI solutions to pressing market challenges developed with high-tech Taiwanese giants such as ASUSTek Computer Inc., AAEON Technology Inc. and Phison Electronics Corp.
Among these, MetAI Technology Co. builds AI-native, industrial-grade simulation infrastructure by rapidly converting 2D blueprints into high-fidelity, simulation-ready 3D environments. Spingence Technology Co. transforms advanced AI into practical enterprise solutions, and its Metropolise platform enables AI-based defect inspection for precision manufacturing. Both firms were featured in the conference’s Inception Startup Pavilion.
DeepRad.AI Inc., Fortune AI Technologies Co., Barking Dog Technology Inc., Holon Robotics, Virphysio Medtech Co. and Morale AI were selected from 3,000 entries around the world to be featured in the GTC Poster Gallery.
The NDC also staged two sideline events during the conference. More than 1,000 participants took part in Taiwan Demo Day March 14 to pitch their business ideas to around 200 investors, while more than 100 individuals attended Taiwan Startup Night, a reception held March 17 to promote exchanges with the local capital market.
