Several members of Canadian parliament and government have been part of Khalistani movement, which has been condemned by Opposition and prominent ministers of the country on several occasion.
Violence and racism against Indians has been normalized in the Canadian states often leading to violence, attacks on temples, attacks on Hindus and Shootouts.
