North Korea again fires ‘unidentified projectile’ into the sea

Kim Jong-Un’s regime shot another “unknown projectile” in the East Sea on Thursday.

It was the sixth arrow test conducted by the country in January. The country had reportedly fired two hypersonic missiles on January 5 and 11 and an alleged ballistic missile test on January 14 and 17.

South Korea says its neighbor fired two suspected ballistic missiles near Hamhung on the east coast of North Korea.

The United States imposed sanctions against North Korea during an arrow test as Biden officials said it was “no doubt” to open talks with North Korea.

Negotiations between former US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un broke down in 2019 over the issue of denuclearization as Kim began to develop his country’s archery system.

North Korea says its missile test was carried out to “protect itself”. The country has not tested nuclear weapons in the last five years but has tested missile and hypersonic arrows that increase the tension on the Korean peninsula.

However, the North Korean government had indicated that it could resume nuclear weapons tests in the region three weeks ago since it launched its missile strike on January 5.

North Korea will mark the 80th anniversary of the birth of Kim Jong-Un’s late father Kim Jong II next month as his Chinese counterpart hosts the Winter Olympics.
