The widespread crime by Pakistani citizens in Turkey has shocked Turkish authorities.

Now, Turkey has tightened its visa policies on Pakistani people a few days after many of them were found to be involved in the abduction of four Nepalese nationals in Istanbul, according to local media.

The Turkish government has also stopped issuing temporary residence permits to the people of Pakistan.

According to reports, four Nepalese people have been abducted by Pakistani men in Istanbul. Taksim Square was a kidnapping incident.

Nepalese people were roaming the area when they were abducted at gunpoint and taken to a shelter.

The hostages were mistreated, and audiocassettes were taken from the house.

The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 10,000 euros for their release.

The suspects, aged 16 to 35, were charged with robbery, kidnapping, intentional assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

Another Pakistani gang was arrested last year in Istanbul after kidnapping a fellow countryman and demanding a $ 50,000 ransom.

In Istanbul, Ankara, and other major cities around Turkey, many Pakistanis live and work.

Hundreds of Pakistanis visit the country across the continent on a monthly basis for tourism.

Prior to the incident, Turkish authorities arrested some Pakistanis who complained about the removal of former Prime Minister Imran Khan.

After Pakistani politicians intervened in Turkey, they were finally released.

The kidnapping has been criticized by Pakistanis living in Turkey.

They are concerned that similar incidents in other parts of the world could tarnish Pakistan’s image.
