Film Samrat Prithviraj starring Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhiller, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, Manav Vij and Ashutosha Rana has delivered right in very aspect. Directed and Written by Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi and produced by YRF and Cape of Good films has left no stone unturned to deliver or invest time and money in making this magnum opus.
Excellent Cinematography, Screenplay and tremendous act by Akshay Kumar especially in Climax will definitely steal your heart. Film’s action sequences and BGM is it’s USP which succeeded in giving goose bumps on several temporals. The runtime of the film is 2 hours 13 minutes long which is good and intriguing. The short runtime signifies no non-scenes in the film as seen in other periodic dramas.
Taking about act, Akshay Kumar looks decent in first half and steal the show in last 20-30 min and became point of concentration. Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt delivered fantastic act and both succeeded in matching perfect chemistry with lead actor Akshay Kumar. Manushi impresses with her dance moves and chemistry with Kumar was also good. Ashutosh Rana, Manoj Joshi, Sakshi Tanwar and Manav Vij also well fitted in their respective roles.
All credit goes to Dr. Chandra Prakash Dwivedi for making this historical saga very special. Showing this historical saga covering every important aspect of Mahan Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan’s life in a very short time is impressive. The film aware us about our heritage, legacy, culture and teachings by our true ancestors like Prithviraj Chauhan, Maharana Pratap, Chanakya, Nagarjuna, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and several other.
