3 Pakistani Prisoners Released by Indian govt

AMRITSAR: The Indian government released three Pakistani prisoners and a baby on Saturday and sent them back to their homeland.

The Pakistani prisoners were identified as Samira, Ahmad Rajaa, and Murtaja Ajgar Ali according to Arun Pal, the recording officer (police).

He said that the three prisoners were sent across the Attari Wagah border to Pakistan. He further said that Samira, a Pakistani woman, was captured in Bangalore and sentenced to three and a half years in prison while pregnant with a girl.

Pal said the other two detainees, Ahmad Rajaa and Murtaja Ajgar Ali, were caught crossing the border. He further said that the Indian government will send them back after their punishment is completed.

Pakistani prisoner Samira thanked the Indian government for sending her back and asked them to send back all people like her who are still here. Rajaa said he was caught crossing the border and was being sent to Pakistan after 21 months.
