BoycottSonyTV trends on twitter after Shraddha Murder case based Crime Patrol Episode

#BOYCOTTSonyTV trends on twitter after netizens alleged Sony’s Crime Patrol 27th December 2022 episode of spreading anti-Hindu narrative. The episode was based on Shraddha Murder case for which accused Aftab is under trial in Delhi’s Saket Court. The disputed episode is numbered 212 and titled the ‘Ahmedabad-Pune’ murder under Crime Patrol 2.0.

Netizens are alleged that in the Crime Patrol episode they changed the name of the killer from Aftab to Mihir, with a devout Hindu and his mandir(Temple) going mother.

And they changed the name of victim girl from Shraddha Walkar a Hindu to Ana Fernandes(Christian), to depict devastating state of minorities in India, which is just opposite to original Shraddha Murder case.

Netizens alleged Sony TV’s shows to be spreading anti-hindu colors as in the present episode of Crime Patrol, Aaftab Poonawala, became Mihir (a Hindu Yoga Teacher) & Hindu Shraddha Walkar became Christian Anna D’Souza Whitewashing Muslim crimes.

A user wrote “This is wrong on so many levels, how can they even think of doing such a thing! They must come out and apologize publicly for interchanging the religions”

Another user wrote “See how Sony TV is setting the narrative and spreading Hinduphobia by changing the accused name and religion in #ShraddhaWalkar from Aftab to Mihir a Yoga teacher. Danish khan head of Sony TV.”
