Free Entry To The Taj Mahal And Other ASI-Protected Monuments In Agra Today

Tourists can get free entry to all sites protected by the Archaeological Survey of India in Agra, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, November 19.

Free access is allowed to mark the launch of World Heritage Week, which is celebrated annually from 19 to 25 November.

Indian and foreign tourists will get free entry to the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri, and other ASI-protected monuments on November 19, ASI Superintending Archaeologist (Agra Circle) Raj Kumar Patel said.

“Entry to the Taj Mahal is free, but tourists would have to buy a ticket for Rs 200 to visit the main mausoleum inside the monument,” he said.

Patel said, “During World Heritage Week, general cultural activities and awareness programs will be organized at the monuments.”
