India’s Ministry of External Affairs has said it is closely following the situation in West Asia after Pakistan claimed to have played a role in ceasefire efforts. The MEA clarified that India is carefully monitoring developments and remains in touch with regional partners to safeguard peace and stability.
Officials stressed that while Pakistan has spoken about its involvement in ceasefire negotiations, India’s priority is to protect its own national interests and ensure that tensions in the region do not escalate further.The statement comes at a time when West Asia is facing heightened conflict, with several countries calling for de-escalation and humanitarian relief.
