J&K Police Launched the ‘Dial 112’ Emergency Helpline for people

Srinagar: The Kashmir Police Department has set up the “Dial 112” helpline for citizens to call the police, firefighters, and ambulances for assistance, authorities said on Saturday.

The helpline was established under the Emergency Response Support System (ERSSand#41; project, they said.

“Citizens can dial 112 wherever they are in danger and for any type of emergency assistance,” officials said. they said that in addition to normal police assistance, people in need can also seek help related to women’s safety.

“Citizens can also call this number for ambulance or fire services,” the officials added.
