YouTube removes Sidhu Moose Wala’s last song ‘SYL’, featuring militants

The popular YouTube channel recently released a song by Sidhu Moose Wala released after his death ‘SYL’ which is an acronym for the Sutlej- Yamuna Link canal. The song was released on YouTube on June 23 and the song is about the Punjab water issue.

The song ‘SYL’ garnered over 27 million views on popular streaming and garnered 3.3 million likes. The song also features photographs of several soldiers such as Balwinder Singh Jatana, who is reportedly a member of the pro-Khalistan Babbar Khalsa and is accused of killing senior engineer ML Sikri and Superintendent engineer AS Aulakh in Sutlej- Yamuna Link. Delhi police recently arrested two key criminals after Sidhu’s death and another murder investigation is being conducted by a special investigative team appointed by the Punjab police.
