Patna: The Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Bihar for two days starting from today. He will be welcomed by senior BJP leaders and Union ministers from Bihar at Jay Prakash Narayan Airport in Patna around 6:30 pm, according to state party president Samrat Choudhary.
He will stay at a hotel and hold meetings with party leaders and officials. On Sunday, he will address public gatherings at Sasaram and Hisua to commemorate the birth anniversary of Emperor Ashoka, Mr Choudhary said.
This is Amit Shah’s fourth trip to the state since the JD(U) broke away from the BJP in August last year. The Union home minister’s visit has been secured by a multi-layered security arrangement and drone surveillance, an official said.
Amit Shah will depart for New Delhi on Sunday evening.
