She has been ‘replaced’ by Sarah Campbell since Thursday

BBC Breakfast fans have praised Sarah in recent days, calling her “professional and human”, while also commenting on her “huge smile” and “colourful” dress sense.

Naga, 48, is a usual fixture alongside Charlie from Thursday to Saturday.

But she was missing from both Thursday and Friday’s shows (September 7 and 8) and viewers discovered she was away again this morning (September 9).

Once again, no explanation was given to fans of the show for Naga’s absence.

Fans have commented that Charlie seems more at ease alongside Sarah.

“People are saying that #CharlieStayt looks more relaxed if not visibly refreshed today!” one said.

Another sang Sarah’s praises, adding: “Well done BBC Breakfast for giving us a break this w/end from the angst and agony of @TVNaga01, and allowing the delightful and delightfully professional Sarah a big red seat!”

During yesterday’s show Charlie Stayt was scolded by his boss live on air after a chaotic interview.

The anchor was joined in studio by actor Ben Miller who was promoting his new books.

Charlie  was discussing one of the books, about a giant, as he told the actor he didn’t know giants couldn’t swim.

Charlie was then given a warning by the show’s boss for going off on a tangent.

Stayt revealed: “My editor’s just told me, ‘I think we’re going off-topic.’”

BBC Breakfast airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
