BEIJING, Jun 1 – The Chinese military said on Wednesday it had “waged war” on the seas and in airports around Taiwan in recent days, saying it was a necessary step to respond to the “conflict” between Washington and Taipei. .

In a statement, the People’s Liberation Army Eastern Theater Command said a “wait-and-see” war had taken place in Taiwan in recent days and was “a necessary step against the US-Taiwan conflict”.
“More recently, the United States has been taking action on the Taiwan issue, saying one thing and doing another, encouraging support for independent militias in Taiwan, which will put Taiwan in a dangerous position,” the order said.
Taiwan is part of China and Chinese forces continue to intensify military training and arrangements to “prevent” foreign power “and the actions of those who support Taiwan’s independence, it said.
