Chennai Super Kings beat MI by 3 wickets in a thriller at DY Patil Stadium, Pune. MSD scored 28 off 13 balls and hit 3 fours and 1 six. CSK need 17 runs in last over whereas the off last 4 balls 16 runs were in need to win the match, MSD hit 2 fours and 1 six on Jaydev Unadkut.
MI failed to register victory in the tournament yet, around half of the tournament is over for the team. Mumbai Indians lost it’s seventh in a row and become first team to lose first seven matches in a row. There is very few possibilities left for MI to qualify into playoffs.
The auctions are proven to be very cruel towards MI as they lost Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, Rahul Chahar, Quinton De Kock and Trent Bolt. MI’s most anticipated buy Jofra is also not available for this season, thus MI is facing severe necessity in bowling unit.
