I worked at Superdrug – the 14 products that live up to the hype, including the £10 shampoo that’s BETTER than Olaplex

IT’S a minefield when it comes to hair and beauty products.

But one woman who worked at Superdrug for seven years has revealed the 14 items that are actually worth buying, as they live up to the hype.

Brit shared a video on TikTok detailing the products, with numerous haircare essentials making the list.

She kicked off with the £12.99 Knight and Wilson PurePlex Revolutionary Hair Repair System, which she credited for saving her clip in hair extensions, as well as making her natural locks “so hydrated”.

She also raved about Revolution’s £10 Hair Plex 4 Bond shampoo, writing: “Olaplex dupe shampoo and conditioner are so good.

“Has more awards than Olaplex too.”

Brit’s also a big fan of the £4.99 Superdrug BC&S Castor Hair Oil, which she used to oil her scalp weekly before getting her extensions.

And the Superdrug Large Detangler Hair Brush in Gold is also a must-buy in her opinion, as she wrote: “My fave brush ever.

“Gone through 3 and it looks like BeautyWorks”.

She then moved onto her beauty favourites, with Juvia’s Place I Am Magic Concealer 24 top of the list.

“So good and the one bottle lasted me like seven months,” she gushed of the £14 product.

Brit also uses Kiss Falscara Bond and Seal every day, as she said that the product “paved the way for Tatti Lashes”.

On the nail side of things, she swears by the Kiss Salon Acrylic Kit Nails in Je T’aime, as she said they last her two weeks at a time.

While Barry M’s Gelly Nail Paint in Cotton is the “closest to white gel toes” you’ll get at home, she insisted.

Skincare wise, Brit loves the Starface Hydro-Stars Spot Stickers Kit, as she said that they “actually work and are worth the hype”, as well as the Garnier Nutri Bomb Coconut and Hyaluronic Acid Tissue Mask and Superdrug’s Cleansing Bio Face Wipes for Combination Skin.

She concluded her list with two scent-sational recommendations – the Paco Rabanne Pure XS for Her and Superdrug’s Layering Lab Body Mist in Blossom.

“Alien dooooooopppp,” she wrote.

“Actually smells like it and lasts all day.

“Fab for your handbag.”

People were quick to comment on the video, with many agreeing with Brit’s recommendations.

“Falscara bond and seal with cheap Amazon lashes lasts me 2 weeks every time,” one person wrote.

As another added: “That white nail polish is so so goodddd”.

“I second those kiss nails,” a third insisted.
