New Delhi: UAE Ambassador Abdulnasser Alshaali hosted an Iftar on Saturday, where External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar was present.
Mr Jaishankar tweeted, “Happy to attend the Iftar by UAE Ambassador @aj_alshaali at @UAEembassyIndia tonight. Ramadan Kareem!”
The two countries have a strong bilateral relationship that has grown over the years. UAE is one of India’s most important strategic partners in West Asia.
They have invested a lot of diplomatic efforts to enhance their bilateral ties through high-level official visits. The leaders of both countries share a warm rapport.
The I2U2 summit, which involved a partnership between India, Israel, UAE and the US, highlighted the strategic alignment between the two countries.
The summit’s vision statement focused on green investment into India by the UAE with technology support from Israel and the US. This would benefit all parties. It would include investment in renewable energy and land and water conservation.”
